2005年10月由3个热爱摇滚乐的年轻人成立，歌声真诚、悦耳、醒目。现场猛、扎、碎。硬汉的“噩”梦，少男的“春”天，知青的“醉”爱。摇滚乐是一面镜子，让你找到自己，看清自己，打开自己。 “简单的三大件，简单的旋律，真诚的歌词，配上独一无二的双声部男女主唱”刺猬始终遵循着独立、简单、原始、带劲的创作原则。
刺猬从来没有一张如此迷幻得美妙的专辑，即使在那张好评如潮的专辑《白日梦蓝》里，我们也找不到《幻象波普星》里那些似乎从天外飘来的美妙的音色。曾经的刺猬解构雕磨了年轻人对青春的困惑和疑虑，如今的刺猬虽已不再也无需再歌颂青春，但他们依旧抱有幻想———崇尚简单音乐的幻想、旋律化心灵颂歌的幻想。
6年时间，发表7张唱片，每张唱片的质量都高于歌迷的期待，这样的高效高产在中国乐队里并不常见。把青春用美好的旋律唱得美丽无瑕又充满童话色彩的刺猬已经长大，他们正在用成人的视角品味人生，思考人生，甚至探究宇宙，我们肯定没有听过刺猬低唱这样的文字：“深夜空荡的心灵，垂死挣扎的爱情，载着我们缓慢前行，烧掉对未来的憧憬。”我们都应该接受成长，对未来的憧憬也将随着成长不断得幻灭和再生。
这一次，刺猬将这些幻想化作一张唱片呈现到世人耳前，就像他们自己对新专辑的描述一样：“这是一次美好声音的简洁幻想，这是一辆直达温暖的心灵慢车 ”。
