Mafilika乐队，成立于2007年。成员们自幼受非洲原生态音乐的熏陶，古调的传承，这些影响深深的扎在他们血液之中。在非洲各民族之间的音乐互通交流和文化融合下，
他们的雷鬼音乐吸收了赤道的光热，听起来异常温暖自然，充满希望。他们在其音乐律动中融入大量传统非洲节奏，爵士音乐，R&B元素。大部分作品甚至夹杂非洲土著语言进行演唱。
也许你听不懂他们在诉说什么，但绝对能够感受到他们内心的渴望以及生活的态度。
家乡恶劣的环境让一些人远走他乡，也让一些人失去了希望，他们却用自己积极向上的独特方式去找寻生命意义之所在，抵抗并寻求道路。
3月的春天里，让我们伴随着摇摆的Reggae，去那遥远的非洲，一起进入赤道上爱的理想国。

It was the mutual desire to play and preserve traditional Malawian music that led to Mafilika’s formation in 2007. The different backgrounds and cultural roots of band members inspired Malfilika Band’s musical style, which fuses of each band member’s personal music tastes into a blend that mixes rock with roots and jazz with reggae each song packed with youthful energy and inspiration! Mafilika represented Malawi at the Music Crossroads InterRegional Festival 2008 and although they didn’t win, they rocked audiences so hard that the Malawian people have sat up and are taking notice of this fiery local talent. Mafilika has been touring throughout the country, performed at Malawi’s biggest international music festival ; Lake of Stars, and recently crossed the national borders. They made a 17 concert tour in The Netherlands in Spring 2009, booked by Mundial Productions. The tour was a resounding success , which put Mafilika on the map without a doubt. In spring 2010 the band returned to Europe again after winning a musical competition lead by the World Bank & Jeunesses Musicales International, where they performed and participated in the Fairplay Youth Voices campaign against corruption.
