十五年，九张唱片，四个人，他们就是来自西北的民谣摇滚乐队低苦艾乐队，中国民谣摇滚的开山旗手。
2014年百事音乐风云榜最佳民谣唱片提名、2014年华语传媒彼岸花开民谣奖最佳民谣摇滚乐队、2013年民谣中国最佳民谣摇滚乐队、2012年华语传媒最佳乐队奖、阿比鹿最佳专辑、阿比鹿年度单曲、中国摇滚20年最佳唱片得主。
2003年成立于黄河边城市兰州，在这个有中国西雅图之称的城市里盛产音乐人，那条奔腾流淌的大河终究会使他们产生不一样的情怀，创作出不拘泥于城市文化的音乐，奔放不失细腻，热烈不失深情，豪爽不失人文。以民谣为基调，凭借敏锐的感受力创作了大量作品，是西北最有代表性的民谣摇滚乐队。
他们的作品有对生命孤寂的体验，对宗教神性的感悟，对乡土情怀的提纯，对家国梦想的阐述，对现实态度的清醒，对爱情细腻的白描。低苦艾所涉猎的主题宽广，心怀天下，低调与包容，是风格也是胸襟。
他们倡导音乐关怀的一面，作品的主题跨度较大，既有《兰州兰州》对离家漂泊的人再也回不去的乡愁诉说，家国梦中赤子之心的坦诚《守望者》《红与黑》，也有追风少年告别父辈时成长的决绝，一气饮下心已醉的《苦艾酒》，有片刻领悟后的浅唱低吟《谁》，也有永远在路上的《火车快开》等，都是不同意象的表达。他们以独立自持的态度做着自己的音乐，真挚自然的表达对世界的立场，对生活的感悟。同时他们也一直被业界称道有超强的现场驾驭能力，每一次身临低苦艾的现场都会给你一次不同的生命震颤。
在新专辑《一天》里，低苦艾将用九个线索和一个主题，试着给出一个切面式的答案。而我们将于下月最先听到的，便是其中的主题曲《命若琴弦》。“人的命就像这琴弦，拉紧了才能弹好，弹好了就够了。强者不是没有眼泪，而是含着眼泪依然奔跑。 ”关于这首歌，史铁生同名小说里的这句话可以带给你足够的想象空间。
当然，在10月27日启程的新专辑28站全国巡演上，除了永远听不够的经典老歌，低苦艾还会当面为你奉上概念完整的《一天》。如果台下的你恰好27岁，那么以当日演出为结束的“一天”，将成为你和低苦艾共同创作的时间作品，在你人生的30000天里，兀自闪光。

Low Wormwood was founded in 2003 in Lanzhou, a city by the Yellow River. Lanzhou, aka “Chinese Seattle”, has given birth to many musicians; and the great, exuberant river provides them with a unique cradle for inspiration. This environment allows Low Wormwood to create music that exceeds the metropolitan culture: outspoken while detailed, passionate while tender, and fervent while cultured. Based in folk music, they have created a large amount of work utilizing their acute senses, making Low Wormwood the most representative folk rock band of Northwestern China.
Low Wormwood’s music depicts experiences of life’s loneliness, thoughts on religious deity, sober attitude towards reality, expression of the Chinese Dream, and much more. With this great big world in mind, their exploration spans across multiple themes. For Low Wormwood, being reserved and inclusive is both a style and a mindset.
In their new album <One Day>, Low Wormwood makes use of nine clues and one unifying theme, trying to come up with a transverse answer. Next month at B10 Live, we’ll be able to catch <Life on a String>, the main track of the album. “Life is like strings on an instrument, you can only play it well if you’ve tightened the strings, and playing it well is enough. The strong is not without tears, they just keep running wearing the tears.” When it comes to the song <Life on a String>, these words taken from Shi Tiesheng’s novel with the same name should provide you with enough space for imagination.
And of course, during their 28-stop national tour which started on Oct, 27th, Low Wormwood will perform not only their timeless classics, but also the conceptually complete <One Day>.
