Defeated Sanity

Defeated Sanity成军于1994年，最初由德国爵士摇滚乐队Aera前成员Wolfgang Teske和他的儿子Lille Gruber组成。如今乐队成员由主唱Joshua Welshman、吉他手Christian Kühn、贝斯手Jacob Schmidt和鼓手Lille Gruber组成。

乐队受美国死亡金属的影响颇大，如Cannibal Corpse、Immolation、Suffocation等。乐队创始人之一Lille Gruber还提到成立不久的乐队如Disgorge、Devourment等都是他们的灵感来源。而他们的歌词则受到另一支美国死亡金属乐队 Brodequin的影响。Lille Gruber说 Brodequin的歌词黑暗而残酷，与Defeated Sanity的中心思想非常一致。

Defeated Sanity从1996年就开始举行演出，同年，他们发行了Demo《Devoured By The Black》。1998年，另一张Demo《Withdrawn From Beauty》面世。 2001年，捷克厂牌Grodhaisn Productions发行了他们与捷克死亡金属乐队Poppy Seed Grinder的合发专辑。2004年，他们的首张全长专辑《Prelude To The Tragedy》由英国厂牌Grindethic Records发行。2006年，Defeated Sanity录制了他们的第二张专辑《Psalms of the Moribund》并于第二年在Grindethic Records正式发行。2009年，乐队与美国厂牌Willowtip Records签约并分别在2010年和2013年发行了专辑《Chapters of Repugnance》和《Passages into Deformity》。

乐队成员说到，《Passages into Deformity》是乐队成立以来技术最为复杂的一张专辑，难度的提升是超过以往任何一张专辑，我们仔细听后会发现，不光是复杂的技巧变化，更多细腻情绪的融入也是超过以往。的确是这样，吉他手Christian Kühn在处理小节Riff的变化时，手指的速度与品弦的定位会让很多人眼花缭乱，贝斯手Jacob Schmidt在弹奏时也是要跟着其它乐器音阶的变化速度演奏，Defeated Sanity不是一味的在追求速度，他们是把速度，力量，技巧，狠重的情绪多方位融为一体，达到乐队特有的风格，也许他们是开辟了一种新的领域，这是代表他们自己独立的状态。

来自中国的技术残酷死亡金属乐团Obsoletenova成立于2015年，阵容稳定为四人。乐队作品以宇宙、物理与生物学为背景框架；疯狂而扭曲的段落，拳拳到肉的Slam，极快速度的鼓点，加上科幻与异星元素，Obsoletenova以绝对的残酷技术死乐器编排带来极致凶悍的听觉冲击。2017首长EP《Malfunction in Sensory Illusion》已经发行，会在现场出售！

Defeated Sanity

Defeated Sanity was formed in 1994 as a project of Wolfgang Teske (guitar) and Lille Gruber (drums) with the intention to play the most brutal and intense Death Metal possible. The band started playing shows in 1996 with the help of session musicians Jonas Gruber (bass) and Robert Colnik (vocals). With this line-up the band also recorded 2 demos “Devoured by the Black” (1996) and “Withdrawn From Beauty” (1998).

The next step was to find musicians able to play the very complicated and difficult songs. Those guys were Tino Köhler (bass) and Christian Münzner (guitar). In 2001 Czech label Grodhaisn Productions released a split-CD with Poppy Seed Grinder with vocals by Marcus Keller. Also recorded in 2001 was the “Collapsing Human Failures” contribution to the Split 7” EP with Imperious Malevolence, which would be the last containing guitarist Christian Münzner (who then became part of Necrophagist).

In late 2004 the band released their debut full length album, “Prelude to the Tragedy” on UK label Grindethic Records.

In August 2006 the band entered Soundlodge Studios and recorded their second album, “Psalms of the Moribund” which was released by Grindethic Records in early 2007. Defeated Sanity has signed to Willowtip Records in 2009 and released their albums "Chapters of Repugnance" (2010) and “Passages into Deformity” (2013).

Guest Band: Obsoletenova

Obsoletenova, Chinese technical brutal death metal band, was formed in 2015. Their music is based on universe, physics and biology. With crazy slam, fast drum patterns and sci-fi elements, the band will definitely blow you out. They have released their first full-length EP of this year “Malfunction in Sensory Illusion” and the album will be sold in the venue!
