Braids是一支来自加拿大蒙特利尔的3人实验流行乐队。
Braids 2007年组建于卡尔加利，搬到蒙特利尔之后，乐队发行了第一张专辑《Native Speaker》，受到业界好评。13年二专《Flourish // Perish》面世。由Raphaelle Standell，Austin Tufts 和 Taylor Smith组成的这支乐队是一个强调集体创造力体验的，不可分割的整体。
为了录制乐队的第三张专辑《Deep In The Iris》，Braids逃离了城市，分别来到了亚利桑那和佛蒙特的山区以及纽约州北部。乐队成员在大自然充满生命力的温暖怀抱里卸下平日的防备坦诚相见，做出了这张迄今最好的专辑——有力但脆弱，精雕细琢又极具人文气息。
Braids的现场演出充满了无法忽视的能量，梦幻的人声、强力的鼓点和妙趣横生的电子乐一起交织成扑面而来的温暖冲击。

Braids are a three-piece experimental pop band from Montreal.
Braids were formed in 2007 in Calgary, AB. After relocating to Montreal, the band released their critically acclaimed debut Native Speaker in 2011, and its 2013 follow-up Flourish // Perish. Consisting of Raphaelle Standell, Austin Tufts, and Taylor Smith, Braids are a collaborative whole, emphasizing a collective creative experience.
To record their third album, Deep In The Iris, Braids decamped to a series of retreats in the mountains of Arizona, Vermont, and upstate New York. Surrounded by nature in all its warm vitality, the longtime bandmates strove to shed the fabric of their day to day relationships, being bare and vulnerable before one another. What resulted is Deep In The Iris, their strongest record to date – powerful, yet fragile; immaculately sculpted, but deeply human.
Live, Braids is a force to be reckoned with – brimming with an undeniably "live" energy, the band combines stunning vocals, powerful drumming, and tasteful electronics, warped and sewn together with widescreen warmth and full-bodied punch.
