疯医乐队于2007年底在河南省新乡市正式成立，受Post-Punk，Noise Rock，No Wave等风格影响。乐队起源于主唱多年的积攒和愿望以及一顿与初识贝斯手的地摊杂食，最初乐队成员为王旭博（主唱/吉他），张楠（贝斯），孙赵炜（鼓），并于次年三月开始正式排练，在四月进行了首演。
之后鼓手孙赵炜因故离队，杨宝斌加入。此后一年，路途坎坷，乐队在鼓手不稳定的情况下坚持创作，并参加了数十场演出。2009年初，乐队决定在一定时间内暂停参加演出，开始录制demo。组队以来，乐队很少进行演出，却拥有了一定数量的固定听众。2010年参加摩登天空音乐节，是乐队首次登陆北京。2011年10月，他们的首张专辑《The Terrible Silence》在摩登天空发行。2014年4月，第2张专辑《Debris》在摩登天空发行。2014年6月，疯医在根茎唱片发表7”黑胶《Painkiller》。
最近，疯医在新单曲《Uneasiness》发布之际，新专辑《Above The Neck，Below The Bridge》也将在巡演前夕面世，巡演名称“穹弓之下”即源自这张新专辑的名字以及专辑内的一首同名歌曲。对于疯医以及广大乐迷来说，这次的巡演的意义不同寻常，从早期 House Party计划下的“新”乐队，到如今后朋乐界的精锐力量，疯医用不断地在拓展自己的音乐视野，并始终以坚定的态度来坚持自己的音乐本色，近两年的草莓音乐节上，疯医都贡献了热力灼人的表演，这也逐渐使他们成为当下后朋领域中最具现场能量和美誉度的摇滚生力军之一。
在2014年，疯医展开过一次21站的巡演，而如今这次2017年巡演，则是疯医组建以来的规模最大的一次巡演，也是他们稳步进阶上升的一次见证，无疑，这次巡演将是疯医成军数年历史上的一次里程碑，2017年的3月10日，疯医乐队将带着《Above The Neck，Below The Bridge》专辑在北京MODERNSKY LAB开启巡演的首站，之后，脚步将遍及天津、西安、南京、上海、广州、武汉等二十余个城市，最后在家乡河南新乡收官。这一伟大的后朋之旅为时42天，其中有五个城市是疯医先前巡演未曾踏及之地。

The Fallacy was formed in Xinxiang, Henan in late 2007. The band is influenced by Post-Punk, Noise Rock and No Wave bands of the 1970s and 1980s. Early lineup were vocalist/ guitarist Xubo Wang, bassist Nan Zhang and drummer Zhaowei Sun. Their debut show was held in April, 2008.
After Zhaowei Sun had left the band, Baobin Yang became the new drummer. Then the band have continued creating music under all kinds of difficult circumstances and done dozens of shows. In early 2009, they made up their mind to make a demo and stop playing in livehouse for a while.
They don’t often do show since they have formed. However, they have a fair number of audiences who enjoy their music. In 2010, the band went to Beijing for the first time and attended the Modern Sky Festival. Their first album The Terrible Silence and second album Debris were issued on Modern Sky in October 2011 and April 2014 respectively. In June 2014, Genjing Records released the band’s 7-inch vinyl Painkiller.
In March, The Fallacy will have a national tour and will be waiting for you at B10 Live on April 1. Time to come and listen to their new album “Above The Neck，Below The Bridge”!
