来自智利圣地亚哥的Psychedelic Rock乐团Föllakzoid是这样定义Psychedelic的——借鉴了先人的音乐，再加上未来主义的新元素，比如合成器。他们经常在表演的某些时刻，置身梦幻太空之中，或由观众掌控着场面，发展成一次抽象的旅行。
2008年，几位常常在一起玩音乐的发小艺术家们，一拍即可组建了这支目前在整个太空摇滚场景中最具特色的乐团。Föllakzoid是一个西班牙语单词，但其发音来自德语Feuerzeug，翻译成中文是打火机的意思。
吉他手Domingo身兼数职，除了导演和乐手身份之外，他还是一位出色的配乐师。曾与吉姆·贾木许的搭档Jozef van Wissem（2013年凭借《唯爱永生》获得戛纳电影节最佳配乐）合作，为自己的处女作影片《Partir To Live》制作配乐。
他们在中国积累的第一批粉丝跟两部音乐纪录片分不开，《Do It Together》(一起干：独立音乐群落记录)，这部纪录片曾在2015的深圳明天音乐节上展映过，另一部则是VICE拍摄的关于德国Krautrock的纪录片《Under The Influence - Krautrock》，Chui Wan曾作为唯一的一支中国乐队受访。
传闻他们第一次在排练室玩即兴时，一首歌连续玩了2小时。2009年乐队建立了自己的厂牌与录音室BYM (Blow Your Mind) ，并发行了他们的首张同名唱片《Föllakzoid》。在之后的2年里，乐队签约了美国传奇厂牌Sacred Bones Records，成为Moon Duo、The Soft Moon、Psychic Ills的同门，并在旗下发行了这张耗时两年的EP《II》。
Föllakzoid用巨大、循环的即兴演奏，营造出了一种集体出神的梦幻体验。2009年他们的第一张唱片发行之后，Psychedelic变成了Föllakzoid的代名词，随后的第二张专辑他们向德国的Krautrock取经，试图将听众和自己拽入一个更宏大的宇宙的版图。
不少人说Föllakzoid是Spacemen 3的再生，去年乐团跟英国Psychedelic大团Spacemen 3、Spiritualized 的主脑Jason Pierce合作，发行了这张现场录音的《London Sessions》，重新录制了2015年发行的《III》中的两首歌曲《Electric》和《Earth》，每首歌的时长都超过了11分钟。
近年Follakzoid受邀参与了世界多个知名音乐节，All Tomorrow's Parties（伦敦）、Lollapalooza（芝加哥）、SXSW（德州）、（巴黎）、Roskilde Festival（哥本哈根）、NOS Primavera Sound（波尔图）、Festival NRMAL（墨西哥城）、Noise Pop Festival（旧金山）、Pysch Fest（莫斯科）等等。目前他们正在做全球巡演，从南美洲到欧洲，随后是亚洲和大洋洲等地。也将于今年3月首次造访中国。

The band has three albums in the praised US label Sacred Bones Records, with raving reviews. Their last LP – III – in collaboration Atom TM and Jason Spacemen (for London Sessions) has been described by Drowned in Sound magazine as "so right, so perfect… that it feels like the band have been playing not just with your ears and heart, but with your very soul"
