他们就是——Blue Foundation！
Blue Foundation由丹麦制作/作曲人Tobias Wilner以及多器乐艺术家Bo Rande组成。Blue Foundation将充满无限可能性的人声与迷幻电子融合，加之交响乐质感的音色与乐器：清澈的马林巴、嘹亮的号、失真的吉他音色与悦耳的竖琴，巧妙融入Trip-Hop和Downtempo，为迷蒙的缓拍电子乐注入全新生命。
Blue Foundation曾多次参加中国音乐节，包括2014年张北音乐节、2016年南京森林音乐节以及2017年西安世园音乐节。2018年4月11日-4月19日，乐队将带来首次中国专场巡演，他们的现场如梦似幻，未曾在音乐节领略过Blue Foundation魅力的乐迷，此番将有机会在专场与无数人共享深邃空灵的梦境！
早期的Blue Foundation带有浓厚的Trip-hop和Jazz Hip-hop氛围。2001年发行的处女作《Blue Foundation》拥有酷似冰岛精灵的低吟浅唱，收缩自如的刮碟技巧，辅以时躁时缓的颓靡饶舌和Bo Rande带有爵士风格的小号，完美诠释了Shoegaze/Electronica/Dream Pop融合的独特魅力。
从第二张专辑《Sweep of Days》开始，Blue Foundation的迷幻电子风格愈发明显。彼时女主唱极具张力的声线若磁石牵引着音律的起伏收放。这张专辑诞生了乐队的诸多经典曲目，包括《As I Moved on》和《End of the Day》。
接下来的专辑《Life of a Ghost》和《In My Mind I Am Free》令Blue Foundation获得广泛的国际认可。专辑金曲《Eyes on Fire》（《吸血鬼日记》《暮光之城》插曲）的"Zeds Dead" Remix版本点击量超1.1亿次。歌曲被采样进 Lil Durk的《Fly High》和Young Thug的《She Noticed》等。
这段时期，Tobias Wilner的人声在作品中占据更多的比例，他温暖柔和的声线令Blue Foundation 的音乐更具层次感和辨识度。乐队的作品因为被一系列知名的国际电影和电视剧目运用而被听众认知与喜爱，包括电影《暮光之城》《迈阿密风云》《橘郡男孩》，以及电视剧《吸血鬼日记》《CSI犯罪现场》、美国电视节目《So You Think You Can Dance》等。乐队也进行了大规模的巡演，足迹遍布欧洲、日本和美国，并与Faithless, Mew ,The Killers ,DJ Krush等诸多大牌乐队同台演出。
2016年9月2日，Blue Foundation发行了他们的第五张专辑《Blood Moon》。这张专辑邀请到了诸多大牌参与，包括Mark Kozelek (Sun Kill Moon/ Red House Painters), Erika Spring (Au Revoir Simone/ Nice As Fuck), Jonas Bjerre (Mew), Sonya Kitchell, Sara Savery (aka Drop the Gun) 和 Findlay Brown 。该专辑由 Dead People's Choice 唱片发行。
新专辑单曲《Lost Girl》邀请了丹麦梦幻摇滚乐队Mew的主唱Jonas Bjerre担任人声。这首歌是一次飘渺空灵的逃逸，若星星般跳动的合成器，在太阳风的搏动中闪烁，贝斯低沉嘶响，贯穿入耳。Bjerre标志性的空灵假音在节拍律动上空萦绕，似薄雾，随着歌曲明媚的旋律不断上升又降落。
2018年，Blue Foundation推出新EP《Brother&Sister》，其中收录新歌《A Woman Stands On The Stairs In The Shadow》，这首歌用波浪般起伏的合成器音效推动情绪螺旋上升，闪烁跳跃的电音带来细胞的舞蹈，神经因为节拍而焕然清醒。
目前乐队的现场演出阵容为：制作人/主唱Tobias Wilner与多器乐演奏家Bo Rande，以及来自意大利的鼓手Federico Ughi和美国歌手Sonya Kitchell。Federico Ughi同时担任The Cinematic Orchestra的鼓手，而年仅28岁的Sonya Kitchell 已经拥有三张个人专辑，并曾与格莱美获得者Herbie Hancock等艺术家合作。
