来自美国宾夕法尼亚州的A Scent Like Wolves（以下简称ASLW）于2010年正式成军，成员包括亲兄弟主唱Al Boltz和Nick Boltz、吉他手Kyle Pettigrew和Jeff Brown、贝司手Ryan Turley以及鼓手Cody Frain。成军8年以来，他们凭借流畅的作品编配、独特的双主唱配置和出色的现场功力，在美国的金属核/后核领域中创出了自己的一片天地。

2012年底，ASLW与August Burns Red、Texas In July、Affiance等诸多名团的御用制作人Carson Slovak合作，由他亲自操刀ASLW的首张专辑。2013年6月，ASLW的首张专辑《...And the Story Goes》发表。专辑中的一曲《Step Four》更是力邀美国当红电子核Attila主唱Chris Fronzak友情献声，而另一首大热单曲《Game Changer》则是邀请到了This Or The Apocalypse的主唱Ricky Armelino亲身客串。当年夏天，人气爆棚的ASLW更是参演了北美最大的音乐节巡演Vans Warped Tour。

处子大碟在美国摇滚独立榜势如破竹的表现，让ASLW获得了许多知名厂牌的青睐。终于，在2014年，ASLW正式签约在波士顿重型名厂We Are Triumphant旗下，乐队也开始潜心录制第二张专辑。2015年12月，《Alternate Lives》作为新专辑的预热EP率先发表。而让乐迷望穿秋水的ASLW的第二张专辑《Frigid Future》也终于在2016年3月正式上市。为了宣传新专辑《Frigid Future》，ASLW在2016年夏天全程参演了北美最大摇滚音乐节巡演Vans Warped Tour，并于2016年11月展开了首次亚洲巡演，足迹遍及中国和日本。

2017年夏天，ASLW再次参战Vans Warped Tour。之后，他们转签到重型名厂CI RECORDS（August Burns Red、Texas In July、Carousel Kings等）旗下，并开始潜心录制新歌。2018年3月30日，ASLW发表了全新EP《SPIRIT VESSEL》，其中一曲《Angelwrath》更是力邀好友乐队——日本金属核班霸CRYSTAL LAKE主唱Ryo友情献声并在MV中出镜，这一跨国合作引发了核圈的热烈讨论。2018年4月，ASLW将再次造访亚洲进行巡演。

A Scent Like Wolves is an American metalcore band formed in Reading, Pennsylvania and established in 2010. The band announced their signing to We Are Triumphant on November 11, 2015. Their record label debut LP 'Frigid Future' was released on March 18, 2016. Lyrical content on the album includes relinquishment, traveling and self-fulfillment as described by brothers Al and Nick Boltz.

On July 19, 2016, the band declared they would tour Japan with French metal outfit, Shoot The Girl First. The artist declared on November 9, 2016, they would tour Chi-na as a headliner, resulting in an extended stay in Asia. A Canadian tour was an-nounced on July 18, 2017, primarily covering Quebec and Ontario provinces. A Scent Like Wolves released "Inside Out" on December 8, 2017, the single found its way to official Spotify playlists Crash Course and New Punk Tracks. After successfully touring four countries on two continents, the band began writing their next release slated for 2018.

A Scent Like Wolves announced their signing with CI Records on February 26, 2018. The following day, the artist stated their new EP 'Spirit Vessel' would be released on March 30, 2018. A video for "Angelwrath" featuring Ryo Kinoshita (Crystal Lake) was released on March 15, 2018.
