Schoolgirl byebye将于9月16发布最新EP《软弱》，10月8日，Schoolgirl byebye 2020全国巡演也将从他们的家乡南京开启。
2015年成立距今，Schoolgirl byebye一直不断蜕变着，2018年发布的首张专辑《No Romantics in China》作为乐队早期的风格练习，包含了乐队标志性的“电影后朋”及“绝对浪漫”的曲风。之后发行的单曲《傍晚去太子湾》、《一般的生活》，展现了乐队丰富的编曲能力。
新EP《软弱》包含Schoolgirl byebye最新创作的5首歌曲，代表着杨越和更生仔，五年的生活及创作总结，每首作品都是自传性的。
延续着前几首单曲《傍晚去太子湾吗》、《不合格女孩》的怀旧曲风，Schoolgirl byebye在新EP《软弱》中放大了情感，展示了人类的脆弱，我们清晰地看到了Schoolgirl byebye的蜕变，这一蜕变不只是杨越更加成熟的编曲，还有更生仔完全主观视角的叙事。

Their first album "No Romantics in China" released in 2018 came out as the band’s early practice as they were gradually searching for their own style, which immediately claimed the iconic tags from their fans -"movie post-punk" and "absolutely romantic". The singles Going to Taiziwan in the Evening and Ordinary Life were released afterwards, delivering the band's rich musical arrangement ability.
