Being a central figure in the avant-garde and experimental music scene in New York City for over 30 years, Elliott Sharp has developed a profound prospective on composing and performing arts. He had given lots of talks in many famous contemporary art centers and colleges including MOMA Contemporary Art Center, Whitney Museum of American Art, Pinakotheka in Munich, University of Washington, School of the Art Institute of Chicago, Tokyo Zokei University. He will discuss about his approaches to the performance and composition of electronic music, graphic scoring, acoustical instruments and improvisation.
