意大利DrakWave神级乐队Ataraxia，仅仅凭借音乐，便可以让你的心灵踏上探幽怀古之旅。在存在或不存在的历史中，在一片氤氲的海水蓝中，你不断往下坠，猛然惊醒，却发现古老的亚特兰蒂斯已然失落。剩下的，唯有寂静、安宁与一壁心灵的饱满。
乐队组建于1985年的Ataraxia从事音乐创作的根本动力来自他们对古老年代的痴迷，无论是东方玄学、地中海文明或者是北方凯尔特文化，也无论是音乐、绘画、宗教、科学、哲学、数学、建筑学甚至是魔法巫咒，凡是与古代文化相关的一切都能让他们着迷。以Ataraxia为名，是他们认为要达到Ataraxia的精神境界，只有通过沉思才能不断认知和接受生活，这正是他们所需要的生活态度，而通过沉思又能启发自我的创造力，所以创造是他们从事一切学习和研究的基础。
作为意大利最杰出的Dark Wave乐队之一，Ataraxia擅长将民谣、中世纪、文艺复兴、巴洛克、古典主义等不同艺术时期的音乐元素揉合到他们那如织锦般繁杂而华贵的音乐创作中，并将这一才能拓展到绘画、诗歌、舞台表演等不同的领域中尽情发挥，其中尤以乐队融合了戏剧、舞蹈、视觉艺术等多种艺术手段的现场表演最令人瞩目。从1985年至今十多年的艺术生涯里，他们坚持"创造"为其艺术的基础，不断求新求变，其锐意进取的积极态度令大多数乐队汗颜，更使得所有人都对之肃然起敬。
今年，ATARAXIA乐队推出了精选曲目，并由其乐队主创Francesca Nicoli与Giovanni Pagliari来演绎。他们将这次演出命名为Purity Movement。这场优雅的演出融合了往期专辑以及新专辑的“Spasms”和“Wind at Mount Elo”中最华美的钢琴和弦乐演奏。其背景音里有“Il Fantasma dell’Opera”歌剧般的氛围，又包含有“The Gentle Sleep”, “Gloomy Sunday”, “Oduarpa”, “Tu es la force du Silence”的古典元素，还有来自“Nossa Senhora dos Anjos”, “Ophélie”, “I love every waiving thing”的宗教元素，更有乐队向舒伯特的作品“Ave Maria”的致敬。

Ataraxia was formed in 1985. As the most brilliant Dark Wave band in Italy, Ataraxia is good at mixing folk music and the music elements in different ages, such as those in Middle Ages, Renaissance, Baroque, Classicism…into their music. And they also use this kind of talent into different areas, such as painting, poetry, stage performance…Their shows are incredible because of their excellent skills in drama, dancing, and visual arts…From 1985 up to now, they insist that the creation is the base of art and try to seek changes in their music. Their aggressive attitude in music makes them become respected by people.
This year, ATARAXIA propose a refined and elegant repertory based on the most beautiful airs and songs for piano and strings taken both from the whole discography of the band and from the new albums “Spasms” and “Wind at Mount Elo” . Atmospheres from “Il Fantasma dell’Opera” (the Panthom of the Opera), classical tunes lke “The Gentle Sleep”, “Gloomy Sunday”, “Oduarpa”, “Tu es la force du Silence”, heavenly airs like “Nossa Senhora dos Anjos”, “Ophélie”, “I love every waiving thing” and the sublime interpretation of Schubert’s “Ave Maria” interpreted by the band.
Echoes of flutes, reverberations of strings and the imponent romantic sound of piano all together in a pure musical movement... The concert halls will be enriched by the flowing notes and the precious scenographies released expressily for this show where elegance meets the depth of feelings in a unique harmony!
