2014年4月30日，当结束了在法国和意大利为期两周的巡演之后，the Drops登上了巴黎 “新早晨”俱乐部的传奇舞台，作为乐队成立5周年的庆祝活动。这支由Federico Casagrande（吉他）和Christophe Panzani（萨克斯）在巴黎建立的乐队，经历了些许“疯狂”的岁月，至今已经成立了5年。 在他们一起度过的这些“疯狂”的日子里充斥着各种各样的点子、各种各样的音乐和对更多不凡经历的渴望。他们的第一张专辑《Falling from the Sky》是在纽约与鼓手Ted Poor在一天之内录制完成的，第二张专辑《Spray》则是在与鼓手Ferenc Nemeth一起巡演的途中录制，同样也只用了一天时间完成。这张专辑引起了出版业的关注，而很快，The Drops也被认为是当今乐坛时候最有趣的新人乐队之一；然而，The Drops首先是一支需要你来到现场聆听的乐队。在紧张的巡演历程中，他们锻造了属于自己的声音，这也要感谢2011年加入的鼓手Gautier Garrigue。他们于2015年1月发行的第三张专辑，代表了他们在舞台上最有力的声音。
Christophe Panzani——萨克斯
法国萨克斯手Christophe Panzani是巴黎的一名重要乐手。他已经和Carla Big Band进行了大范围的巡演，并曾与Steve Swallow、Billy Drummond、Andy Sheppard同台。 Christophe和贝斯手Keith Witty建立的乐队The Thiefs一直活跃在美国乐坛，他们曾被美国国家室内乐协会和中大西洋艺术基金会授予奖项，分别在2010年和2012年。
Federico Casagrande——吉他
巴黎本土爵士吉他手Federico Casagrande年轻时在意大利学习古典音乐。他已经以个人名义发行了数张专辑，最新的两张专辑是由意大利的大型爵士乐厂牌CamJazz.发行的。2007年，在赢得了Gibson Montreux爵士音乐节比赛的第一名之后，他就开始活跃在欧洲20余个国家的舞台上。
Gautier Garrigue——鼓
Gautier Garrigue是在法国的新生一代中最出色的鼓手之一， 他出生在法国的佩皮尼昂，从2007年开始在巴黎定居。到目前为止，他已经与法国不少最顶尖的音乐人合作，并在全世界巡演。

On April 30th 2014, ending a 2 weeks tour in France and Italy, The Drops were celebrating their 5 anniversary on the legendary stage of the New Morning in Paris. 5 years of existence after the Parisian beginnings and the "crazy" years of the band created by Federico Casagrande (guitar) and Christophe Panzani (sax). The "crazy" years of the youth of the band: plenty of ideas, of music and the desire of experiences. The first album "Falling from the Sky" was recorded in one day in New York with Ted Poor on drums. The second album "Spray" was recorded on the road, this also in one day, during a tour with Ferenc Nemeth on drums. This record drew the attention of the press and The Drops were soon recognized as one of the most interesting raising band on the scene. But The Drops is first of all a band that has to be heard live and through an intense touring activity they forged their sound also thanks to Gautier Garrigue, the man who sit behind the drums since 2011. The third record, "Live in Paris", released in January 2015, represent the force of their sound on stage.
Christophe Panzani – sax
Sax player and composer, very active on the Parisian scene, he started been noticed ten years ago in the Big Bang of Carla Bley, with whom he played on all major European jazz festivals beside Steve Swallow, Billy Drummond, Andy Sheppard... Christophe continues to work actively on the US scene with the band The Thiefs that he founded with n.y. bass player Keith Witty. They have been rewarded twice, in 2010 by Chamber Music America and in 2012 by Mid Atlantic Art Foundation.
Federico Casagrande – guitar
Federico Casagrande Italian guitarist based in Paris for many years. He has already quite a few albums on his name, and the last two has been produced by major jazz Italian label CamJazz. After winning the first prize in 2007 at Gibson Montreux Jazz Festival Competition, with George Benson head of the jury, he has been performing very actively in more than 20 countries all over the world.
Gautier Garrigue – drums
Gautier is one of the best drummers of the new French generation. Born in Perpignan he has been living in Paris since 2007. He has already played with some of the finest musicians on the French scene and performed worldwide.
