Teho Teardo与Blixa Bargeld在2013年开始的新合作既独特又令人意外。来自意大利的Teho Teardo既是作曲家、音效设计师，还是意大利最负盛名的电影音乐作曲家之一。来自柏林的Blixa Bargeld是“倒塌的新建筑乐队（Einstürzende Neubauten）”主唱及曾经的“Nick Cave和坏种子”（Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds） 乐队吉他手。2009年两人在戏剧《辱骂》（Inguiria）演出期间相识，便立即开始联手创作电影原声音乐《宁静生活》（A Quite Life），这首歌为刚刚发行的新专辑《依旧微笑》（Still Smiling）在创作和制作上奠定了基础。在此专辑中可以发现歌曲和实验性的乐曲都有机地融为一体。在乐器使用方面，大提琴，小提琴，吉他以及一个完整的弦乐四重奏与电子音乐的独特碰撞，彻底颠覆了古典乐器给人们的传统感，将带给听众深刻的感情触动。
此专辑的创作、录制在柏林及罗马两地历时两年完成，Teho与Blixa两人共同精心地斟酌处理每一个声音、字句及每一处停顿。
此专辑共收录12首充满力量与激情的歌曲，其中包括歌曲《宁静生活》的一个新版本，以及翻唱自“老虎百合”乐队（The Tiger Lilies）的《与月亮独处》（Alone with the moon）。
在演奏方面，他们获得了巴兰纳斯库弦乐四重奏团（Balanescu Quartett）及大提琴手Martina Bertoni的倾情助阵。主唱Blixa这次还通过富涵意境的英德意三语歌词，将个人的、鲜为人知的一面展现在听众面前。
《依旧微笑》跨越罗马与柏林天空，无论白昼还是黑夜，这张专辑定会带领听众身临其境地踏上一场独特的音乐之旅
此次巡演，深圳站另有来自香港的弦乐四重奏香港创乐团（HKNME）。

This is a quite unique collaboration, an unexpected one between the italian composer Teho Teardo and Blixa Bargeld, leader of Einstürzende Neubauten and former Bad Seeds. They first met during the realization of Ingiuria, a theatre pièce and right after that they collaborated on a song for a soundtrack, "A Quite Life". That song started the whole process of writing and producing an album together where songs and more experimental pieces could find a common ground.
The original use of strings: baritone guitars, cello, violin, guitars, a full string quartet diverts the traditional perception of those classic instruments when they deal with electronics and the result is emotionally moving.
The album has been written, recorded and produced between Berlin and Rome, it took nearly two years to be made, Teho and Blixa worked next to each other choosing carefully every sound, every word and silence.
There are 12 new songs on Still Smiling, including a new version of A Quiet Life and a cover of Alone With The Moon by The Tiger Lilies.
Amongst collaborators there are The Balanescu Quartet.
Lyrics are visionary and are sung in english, german and italian, Blixa reveals a really personal and intimate side to the listener this time.
Still Smiling is an album whose special vision covers all the sky between Rome and Berlin, daytime and nocturnal.
Hong Kong New Music Ensemble will perform with Teho and Blixa on the same stage as a quartet.
