狂野，粗砺的噪音美学与宽广，黑暗的调式漩涡平衡出的立体听感，是出于红领巾乐队三人对声音、时间、空间和结构的理解。在不断的建立摧毁，有序混乱和重组解析中带出他们音乐饱满的张力。也是不断提出问题的行为，在过程中抽离所经历的、学习的、被告知的当代中国大环境下的语汇，不管好的坏的畸形的都捏在一块，引出思考。
红领巾乐队首张CD专辑2016年1月由BADHEAD厂牌发行。40多分钟的自由即兴录音，压制时分为四首取名:轟、刕、靐、飝，由锣的金属撞击引入中国唢呐芦苇哨子的高频啸叫情绪骤变到吉他，鼓和萨克斯大动态下凌厉的平衡，再到竹笛人声东方色彩Cult式的怪诞，序列音乐变速回转与自由爵士的咆哮，结尾合成器噪音的引出。可见他们在寻找自己声音世界里的跨度之大。
2017年红领巾乐队新专辑将要筹备录制，风格更加具象有力，节奏粗犷涵盖了，前卫摇滚、激流金属、数学摇滚、放克金属、朋克摇滚等。
邓博宇
风格涵盖摇滚、爵士和自由即兴。他同时也是一位前卫电子音乐人，沉迷于极简主义的氛围建设，作品音色敏感，细腻而又不失奇思妙想的怪异节奏，对于采样、拼贴有着独特审美视角。并于2012年出版了首张个人电子专辑《旷野密码》他同时也是五条人乐队的鼓手,参与录制了五条人的最新专辑《广东姑娘》。
李星
从前卫摇滚到自由爵士再到声音艺术，他抽离不同环境中的声音语言，再塑造形成自己的语汇。北京的干燥到上海的阴柔，多年的音乐生活使他对声音有了更多思考，又通过了解阴阳中术数的关系，同样的思考来自声音与中国当代社会的关系，开始对噪音、环境、序列以及事件和偶发等的尝试与可能性。
老丹
95年开始学习萨克斯，后来专业学习中国竹笛。
2007年以专业第一的成绩考入沈阳音乐学院竹笛专业。
2012年开始学习研究世界各地民族管乐器，包括：口弦、迪吉里杜管、印度班苏里笛、竹制萨克斯、亚美尼亚杜杜克笛等，并对中国传统竹笛的演奏方式和技巧加入了自己的想法与特点，在演奏中极其注重自由、情绪、思维、空间等细节。
经过大量的演出和录音之后，他在音乐风格中融入了实验、噪音、自由即兴等元素，并以笛子和萨克斯为主要线条，加入世界各地的吹奏乐器，使自己的音乐更为丰富，更具有创造性。

Red Scarf Trio was founded in 2013 with drummer Deng Boyu, guitarist Li Xing and wind instrument player Lao Dan. All the members are modern musicians who are active in avant-garde music field, both improvised free-style and progressive folk can be found frequently in the music.
Red Scarf has not only its own unique way to interpret sound, space, structure and improvised form, but also characteristic way to perform instruments. Emphasising expression of diverse emotional details of themselves, the musicians bring out plump tension in their music. However, they keep their music grounded, with expressions deeply rooted in their sensibility of routine life.
Members of the band have cooperated with many important musicians worldwide, including Lee Ranaldo, Akira Sakata, Sabu Toyozumi, Benoit Stasiaczyk, Federico Casagrande, Mamer, Xiao He, Wu Na and bands such as Dawanggang and Wutiaoren among others.
The trio have been invited to the 6th OCT-LOFT Jazz Festival again this October, after their impressive gig last year here; In the same month, Red Scarf Trio will also attend to the Zhujiajiao Water Village Music Festival.
Deng Boyu
Drummer of various bands of different styles, including rock, jazz and improvising free-style. Meanwhile, Deng himself is also an avant-garde electronic musician, being addicted to atmosphere building of minimalism. The tune of his works is sensitive and delicate, full of irregular rhythms with fancy thoughts. He also got a unique aesthetic vision for sampling and collaging.
Li Xing
Freelance musician and guitarist. Li Xing extracts diverse sound languages from different styles, like experimental rock, free jazz and sound art, to reconstruct his own music vocabulary. Li Xing has lived in Beijing and Shanghai, the different characters of different cities offer him a lot of space to think about music, and the connection between sounds and contemporary society of China, through the ‘Shu Shu’ of ‘Yin and Yang’, which inspires him to experiment more possibilities in different musics including noise, ambient and serial.
Lao Dan
Lao Dan is a freelance musician and wind instrument player, who started learning sax at the age of 8, later turned to dizi.
In 2007, he was admitted to dizi major of Shenyang Conservatory of Music, with highest score. During college, he used to serve as the principal dizi player of Youth Chinese Orchestraof SCM.
From 2012 Lao Dan started his research on wind instruments from all over the world, including Jew's harp, didgeridoo, bansuri, bamboo sax, duduk, etc. Lao Dan blends his own thoughts into the traditional way of playing dizi, he pays a lot of attention on performing details such as freedom, mood, thought and space.
With plenty of performing and recording experience, Lao Dan started to experiment more on his music, since 2014. Based on dizi and sax, adding various global wind instruments,with new elements as experiment, noise, improvisation, his music has been improved to a more substantial and creative level.
