上海复兴方案乐队Shanghai Restoration Project（SRP）将于2017年5月携爵士歌手张乐重返中国，为观众呈现一次主打去年夏天发布的新专辑Life Elsewhere《她乡》的巡演。《她乡》是SRP继2014年发行中文爵士经典专辑《The Classics》之后，制作人Dave Liang与张乐的二度携手，并有艺术家孙云帆加盟专辑的词曲和制作。

博尔赫斯在小说《另一个人》里与年轻时的自己尴尬相遇，庄子在梦蝶的故事里玩了一个将自我与他者换位的游戏，《她乡》则用音乐展开了一场气象开阔的心灵自省，一次关于身份边界的模糊和自我意识跃迁的探险，一不小心会看见自己的后脑勺。十二首原创曲目风格如同在融合着电子、爵士与拉丁的丹炉中抖落时空各异的微量元素——摇摆、蓝调、桑巴、Bossa Nova、印度古典音乐、嘻哈、Synthpop、Vaporwave等，炼造出流淌于异域与故土、过去与未来之间的奇异之环。张乐自然、细致而充满灵性的演绎展现一位卓越的歌者在不同音乐传统里游刃有余的自信。本次巡演还将回顾部分以往专辑的经典曲目、首演尚未发行的新曲目，并伴有VJ孙云帆制作的视觉投影，而爵士吉他手张雄关也将作为特别嘉宾加入此次演出。

2006年成立于纽约的Shanghai Restoration Project（SRP）常被描述为一个擅长将高能量的当代节奏感与根植于现代中国城市文化的含蓄曲调相融合的电子乐团。与其美国华裔移民的个人音乐成长经历暗合，创始人Dave Liang（梁文伟）纯然自叙般地将中国乐器与曲调的感性注入西方爵士、流行和嘻哈的律动之中，现场演出常以动画影像配合电音、说唱、爵士演唱与即兴，展现时空叠置、多元文化交织的成熟乐风，作品曾打入世界多个电子音乐排行榜首位，并获星巴克、Nike与世界音乐大厂Putumayo青睐收录选用。

Following up on their 2015 The Classics Tour, The Shanghai Restoration Project & Zhang Le return to China this May to tour their latest release "Life Elsewhere". This playful collaboration with artist Sun Yunfan weaves together jazz, electronica, samba, bossa nova and world music with Chinese Taoist philosophy. The performance will feature the trio joined by special guest jazz guitarist Zhang Xiongguan.

Dave Liang (keyboard, vocals) is the Emmy winning creator and producer of The Shanghai Restoration Project, a group that blends Chinese culture with hip-hop and electronica. His projects have been featured on NPR, BBC, The New York Times and Last Call with Carson Daly. In addition to his production work for artists on his own label Undercover Culture Music, Liang has also worked with artists on Bad Boy, Warner, Yamaha, and Universal.

Zhang Le (vocals) has been described by Oscar-winning composer Tan Dun (Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon) as "a rising young star with a remarkable gift." Her innovative blend of traditional Chinese folk songs and modern jazz have captured the attention of American and Chinese audiences alike. A graduate of the New England Conservatory of Music, she is an accomplished arranger and vocalist whose work has reached the Top 10 jazz albums on iTunes and been featured on NPR’s All Things Considered.

Sun Yunfan (songwriter, visuals) is a multidisciplinary artist whose work ranges from film and animation to painting, drawing, collage, sculpture, and artist books. Her work has been featured on NPR, Rolling Stone, the Sundance Film Festival, the Toronto International Film Festival, and museums and galleries in the US, Europe, and China.

Zhang Xiongguan (guitar) is one of China's most outstanding young jazz musicians. After graduating from Shanghai Conservatory of Music in 2013, Xiongguan went on to pursue his Master of Music degree in Jazz Performance in New England Conservatory in Boston,where he studied with some of the leading figures in the jazz world.
