P.K.14，全称为the Public Kingdom for Teens / 青春公共王国。音乐风格受新浪潮 / 后朋克的影响。 P.K.14乐队成立于1997年末，乐队的四位成员都有着南京地下朋克音乐圈的背景，并以此为基础发展出自己的音乐风格。1997年到1999年，P.K.14 乐队逐渐成为当时南京最重要的乐队之一，他们和当时的其他南京乐队一起，将"超现实主义之城"的称呼带给了南京。

P.K.14在中国摇滚乐中所占据的位置也许和 Talking Heads 乐队或者 Television 乐队在70年代的纽约浪潮中的地位类似。P.K.14属于最具有思考深度和本质性的乐队中的一支，对音乐怀有巨大的进取心，而对时尚毫不关心。P.K.14已经在中国以及海外进行过大量的演出，他们也曾经和许多著名的乐队分享过同一个舞台，包括The (International) Noise Conspiracy, These Are Powers, Ex-Models, 以及 The Soundtrack of Our Lives 等等。

乐队计划在今年进行新唱片的录制，录音之前，乐队将于六月进行一场14站的国内巡演。约一半的巡演曲目来自下张专辑里的新歌曲，另一半则来自《城市天气的航行》与《1984》。此次巡演，还会有一位客座乐手随行，至于他是谁？先卖个关子，现场揭晓。

P.K.14 occupies a space in Chinese music that might be analogous to that of Talking Heads or Television in the New York of the 1970s. They are among the most thoughtful and self-referential of bands, with an enormous curiosity about music coupled with a complete inability to care about musical fashion. Among the astonishing group of young musicians that has emerged in Beijing over the last four years, they are almost unanimously cited as the band that has most influenced the young Beijing music scene. Although they are at the heart of the Beijing scene, at the same time they are wholly unique and seem to be traveling in their own space – one which consists of only one band.

Founded in Nanjing in 1997, P.K.14 soon made their debut in December of that year. In May 1999, the band opened for Sweden’s The (International) Noise Conspiracy in Shanghai, and since become one of China’s most admired and influential bands. In 2001 with the release of their debut album, “上楼就往左拐”(Upstairs, Turn Left), on Sub Jam records, they quickly established themselves as one of the major bands in the China indie scene.

Lo and behold! P.K.14’s new album will be recorded later this year. Ahead of it , the band has a 14-stop tour of China to embark on. Half of the setlist comes from the new album, and the rest from their previous albums City Weather Sailing and 1984. Be prepared also for an awesome and mysterious guest. But who? Discover it yourselves at the concert.
