台湾乐坛指标性乐队，风格独特巧妙融合放克律动和中文词韵。新专辑《一万小时》曲风更加成熟且多元，并一举获得Music Radio 音乐之声中国TOP奖最受欢迎乐团及最佳编曲两项大奖，并曾获金曲奖、金音奖、新加坡金曲奖……等奖项提名。在台湾、日本、香港、新加坡巡演屡屡创下完售纪录，国际知名音乐节Summer Sonic, South by Southwest 受邀乐队，五月天Just Rock It巡演指名开场乐队。

强烈的律动感是宇宙人音乐最独特的部分。宇宙人喜欢Funk、Disco、Jazz，并且不断尝试融入不同的音乐元素。因为喜欢舞蹈，所以尽全力做出让大家可以随之律动的音乐，这是台湾乐团少的格。听着宇宙人创作的每一首歌曲都像是进入一个节奏的黑洞，让人不知不觉地顺着音乐的摆动身体。

历经台北小巨蛋、美国德州SXSW音乐节、日本头号音乐祭Summer Sonic、上海西岸音乐季、香港Music Zone、Youtube东京总部、Neo Studio等海内外大大小小演出洗礼，一路沉淀思索，少了一些迷惘，多了乐观和自信，找到内心坚定的力量。并接着推出第三张专辑《一万小时》。也在2016受到金曲奖肯定，入围最佳乐团。

Cosmospeople was founded in the summer holiday of 2004, by keyboardist Xiaoyu and guitarist Akui who graduated from Taipei Municipal Chien-Kuo Senior High School. The two have known each other since high school, their strong passion towards street dance spontaneously stimulated their interest in dance music and also they started to explore funk which is an African American music with strong rhythmic groove. After graduation, they formed a band and start to make their own music.

Later on they have added more instruments in the band, such as keyboard, jazz drums and bass and their journey of composition has been eight years. The band has released two albums and one EP before their new album Ten Thousand Hours.

Cosmopeople live hard and learn every rhythm from life. They ramble the planet and profoundly taste life through down-to-earth feelings, meanwhile, they record the authentic portrayal of today’s youth through the beauty of music. Cosmopeople continuously attempts to add new elements such as funk, disco, jazz into their music and it seems to walk in to a rhythmic black hole and you insensibly sway your body to the music.

The band has already proved themselves in massive venues and festivals. After releasing their 3rd album Ten Thousand Hours, Cosmopeople got nominated in the Golden Melody Awards of Taiwan.
