说起来捷克，可能很多朋友都是陌生的，包括我们也对这个国家的 Post Rock 光景所知甚少，但恰好，在这样一个盛产黑暗童话的国度，我们也发现了一个惊喜，他们便是 Flash the Readies。

对于一支已经成军12年的乐队来说，直接的改变音乐风格无疑是最为困难的事情之一，因为这样不光预示着要改变自身的创作思路，更意味着同以往的成绩决裂。在长达12年的时间内，他们是一支非常优秀的前卫/独立摇滚乐团，甚至在2013年交出了《In Belvedere》这张极具水准的前卫摇滚答卷：他们在这张专辑中仍然十分注重叙事文本的建构，力图在专辑中展现视觉意象并引导听众进行想象。这点也可以将这张专辑描述为「Pink Floyd般的作品」。这也标志他们的音乐创作取向即将变化，即向着 Post Rock 转变。

而就在2016年，新专辑《Kayos》诞生了。Flash the Readies 不光做到了成功的转型，还更进一步的通过全新的风格让乐队自身成功的迈上了一个更高的台阶，让所有的后摇粉丝大吃一惊。在 Flash the Readies 的这张新专辑《Kayos》中，你不光能听到现代后摇滚的经典元素，还能够感受到流淌在他们音乐中关于“乐队自身的”滚烫血液。

恰如第三曲《Harey》中，温柔且细腻的推进与点缀让你直接想到远在东方的 Mono；而在第二曲《Kitten diver fair》里，你甚至可以感受到那股强大到如同 GY!BE 般的宏伟厚重。

换句话来讲，Flash the Readies 的新专辑《Kayos》是一张“割裂“的专辑，其中每首歌的情感均为不同，甚至可以说是背道而驰的。他们不光做到了表达手法切换娴熟自得，更是成功的让你感到其在融合了各位大师的优点后让然保持了自己的”新鲜“和”独特“性。整张专辑从怪诞到压抑再到温柔，并到最后将这些复杂情感通过长达18分钟的末尾两曲汇聚在一起，实在是令人印象深刻。

简而言之，在他们的音乐中，你将能够感到到一股莫名的压抑感，于此同时，这份压抑感伴随着强大的张力，把你笼罩在其中不得喘息。这种非透明的内核直接的将他们同他们所学习的乐队（Mono，GY!BE，Caspian....）等区别开来，难能可贵。

就在今年7月，我们邀请到了 Flash the Readies 在结束 DUNK!FEST 音乐节（全球最优秀的 Post 类音乐节）演出之后首次来到中国，我们现场见！

Speaking of Czech, it may be a country that most of us are unfamiliar with. Although we know little about the Post Rock scene in Czech, we also found a surprise in this country which abounds with dark fairy tales, it is Flash the Readies.

A key element of Flash The Readies present musical formula is the conceptual approach, one they’ve harnessed masterfully in a storybook album supplemented by graphic illustrations that provide a visual narrative, although you’re likely to find the music induces sufficient imagery on it’s own, including what can only be described as a few Pink Floyd-ian moments.

The radical transformation of Flash the Readies took place in their new album Kayos released in 2016, and the band has been lifted to a new level by their new music style which surprised all the post rock fans.In their new album Kayos you can find the classic elements of modern post rock and the hot blood of the band itself.

In July this year, after they have attended DUNK! FEST(the world's greatest post-whatever music festival ), we invited Flash the Readies came to China at the first time.See you at the live!
