在极端金属飞速发展的今天，越来越的艺人早已不在把自己的目光局限与单一的风格限制。恰好，在瑞士这样一个创作力丰富的土地上，不断的有全新的惊喜出现。比如CONVULSIF，就是这样的一个存在：他们的音乐不仅打通了泥浆金属，黑金属以及试验噪音之间壁垒，还成功的将其变化为自身最为特别的听觉体验。
区别于我们所熟知的北欧极端音乐，Convulsif 从配器开始就足以让我们大吃一惊，无论是单簧管与电子噪音运用，亦或以小提琴为主的秘密旋律的铺垫，他们都做到了毫无维和。更为有趣的一点是，他们的音乐破天荒的打破了传统极端音乐的基础配置，大刀阔斧的删去了吉他这一重要乐器。

就在这样的奇怪编制之下，Convulslf 嚣张无比的 bassline 就成为了他们作品中结构的控制者，与架子鼓直截了当的组成了他们音乐的血与骨，进而支撑了小提琴，单簧管与噪音三者所融合而来的奇妙化学反应，使得他们的音乐在生猛的同时无比的丰富。

As Extreme Metal develops rapidly nowadays, more and more artists no longer fix their vision onto a single music genre. In Swiss, a land of exuberant creativity, surprises are born unceasingly； and Convulsif is one of them: their music not only breaks through the boundary between Sludge Metal, Black Metal and Experimental Noise, but also successfully creates the most recognisable auditory experience out of it.
Different from the Scandinavian extreme music to which we are familiar, Convusif surprises us all with just their instruments. From the practice of the clarinet or the electronic noise, to the embedding melody featured by the violin, the music of Convulsif surprisingly reaches an harmony. The most interesting feature is that their music unprecedentedly breaks the tradition of extreme music: Convulsif does not have a guitar.
With such peculiar arrangement, Convulsif have arrogant bass-line as their leading figure, forming the skeleton and blood of its music along with the drum set. Hence, they support the magical chemical reaction between the violin, the clarinet and noise, enriching their music with a vigorous manner. This year right in summer, Convulsif will be on their very first tour in China. Let’s expect such a strange but marvellous metal band
