对，你没有看错！这个成员背景各异，音乐风格受Neo-Soul，R＆B，欧美独立，日本歌谣流行等等元素影响，名叫「能特别惹你喜爱的音乐」的日本关西乐队故意取了这个一鸣惊人的名字。
乐队起初只是男主唱Kume君的宅录项目，在一次偶然的友人家庭派对聚会彼此结缘。虽然对音乐风格的口味偏好各不相同，但也正因为如此才更想融合尝试有趣的未知化学反应。2014年夏天，SFM正式以“乐队形式”展开活动。在追求日系独立流行的旋律以外，更把「多人制乐队」放到了核心位置，包含管弦乐器在内正式成员为七人编制，另有Support键盘手一名，合计达“八人”之多。
2016年5月，Special Favorite Music第一张专辑《World’s Magic》由P-VINE一经发行就在 iTunes/Apple Music/Tower Records的各种榜单上排名前列。虽然主流媒体并没有大量的报道，但乐队的口碑却在日本独立圈被渐渐传开，《World’s Magic》也成为了一张长期畅销的专辑。第二年发行的一百张限量黑胶碟一经发售就被抢购一空。2016年8月在大阪举行的首次专场演出同样被售罄。2017年3月广受好评的单曲《Ceremony》发行，乐队同时也逐渐增加了在现场演出活动的频率。
在《Ceremony》这首曲子里，你能明显感受到管弦乐作为歌曲基础节奏带来的灵动、活跃，整个人身心都在放松，只想在城市街道与周围景色一起漫舞。《Ceremony》描述了人们预感到将要发生什么时、自体本身的惊异以及胸腔的高鸣产生的心动感。等待未知事情发生的时候所孕育出的不确定状态、并不需要自己说“加油啊”，而是悄悄地踏出那轻快的一步。这种漂浮美好的瞬间是SFM最想去赞美的。
在虾米网易上看过那么多欧美日系港澳台大陆乐团的专辑封面，要说“可爱到爆棚失眠”的封面，不得不首推《World’s Magic》这张会联想到甜心可爱女主唱lovingyuu的萌感封面女孩。被译为「世间魔法」的首张专辑也旨在大声说出在创作歌曲的过程中其实是有许多消极的挣扎和情绪，本身想带着这些负面情绪把歌写好。但突然就在反复考虑收录什么的歌的这个过程中，心情又产生了巨变。
既然已经跌到谷底身处逆境，反而会突然想去写出能在世界美好闪耀的流行音乐。《World’s Magic》就是这一场宣言的结果，在每天的日常生活中，确信「魔法般的瞬间是真实存在的」。
现在若称赞Special Favorite Music，大家很容易在开头说句“如果你喜欢Cero、Lucky Tapes这类，那就一定不能错过SFM”。没错，他们之间确有类似的交集。
SFM以80、90年代美式流行音乐与日本本土生活气息相结合的老流行节奏为基调，软而不失鼓点，在此基础上，扩大乐队编制，增加爵士乐器、管弦乐器等，让演奏方向更加多元，曲子更为轻柔优雅。Special Favorite Music的音乐并不是在背后推着你前进的“躁动青春”，它是轻轻来到你身边的温柔天使。

Special Favorite Music (SFM for short)
The members of Special Favorite Music (Kansai, Japan) are from a wide variety of backgrounds, and named their band with this conspicuous name. Their music influenced by Neo-Soul, R＆B, Indie pop, J-pop and so on.
The vocalist Kume started out SFM as a home recording project, and meat the other members in a family party. Althouth they have different musical tastes, they are trying to do the fusion as an unknown chemical reaction. SFM start working as a band in the summer of 2014.
SFM released their first album World's Magic in May 2016 by P-VINE, the album ranked in the forefront in various lists of Tunes/Apple Music/Tower Records immediately after release, and become a long-term best-selling album. In March of this year, SFM released the single Ceremony which has won wide acclaims and increase the frequency of live show at the same time.
Although there are lots of passive struggles and emotions while recording, the aim of SFM`s first album World's Magic is to express how to make pop music which can shining in the world when you are hopeless.World's Magic can make you believe the magical moments exist in our daily life.
In the first weekend of August 2017, let`s take the never ending heart beat and meet at the Special Favorite Music china tour.
