记号士成立于2011年，创作以全知观点的华语中文歌词为出发点,迷离冷调和噪音的迷幻吉他音墙 ,搭配哥德式后庞克铿锵有力的鼓击，黑暗的实验噪音迷雾就此蔓延开来。乐团现由主唱兼吉他手陈麒宇、吉他手马世灏、贝斯手林彦均组成。
记号士曾经参与各大音乐祭演出，包括野台开唱 、大港开唱等，于2015年3月赴美参与美国南方音乐节SXSW演出，并展开纽约城市巡回;担任过英国白色谎言乐团(White Lies)世界巡回演唱会之开场乐团；先后于2012年发行EP《第一个记号》，2014年发行首张专辑《为时间做过的注解》，并于2017年及2018年发行最新单曲《堆砌陌生的城市》及《疑问》。
记号士制造的音乐恰如其名，仿佛于世界末日与冷酷意境中徘徊，在意识与潜意识中虚幻，现实与非现实间反覆，将自我分裂的无所适从、分崩离析与歇斯底里兑现得淋漓尽致，层层穿透至心灵的底层,压抑的本能与欲望终将释放。

The Sign of Human is a Taiwanese shoegazing band founded in 2011, Taipei. Inspired by 80’s Manchester and Glasgow, and Iceland music since 2000, their sound is characterized by the genres of experimental rock, shoegazing and noise.
The mixture of the psychedelic, ethereal guitar sound, pulsing bass line and the dark, well-rounded drums create a trippy atmosphere like finding yourself in an immense, unexplored uni- verse. Most of their songs depict the solitude and desolation, which over- whelm the listeners’ souls. In October 2012,
The Sign of Human was evaluated as one of the top ten best new bands of the year by StreetVoice, who is known for scouting potential new indie bands in Taiwan. After that, they released their debut EP, O– —(The First Sign). In the same year, their first studio album Note For Time hit the racks. The Sign of Human has played in many festivals and gigs including SXSW (Austin), Megaport Music Festival (Kaoshiung), Formoz Festival (Taipei), etc. In 2014, the band was invited to be the opening act for White Lies. The next year, they toured New York for their first time building a connection with this exotic city. Sounding like they are letting rip in the instruments, The Sign of Human carves their own signature and distinctive sound that others must fall far behind.
