融合了东方民族旋律色彩的中国大鼓、打击乐，以及Funk、Hip-Hop、工业等音乐元素，热爱生命与自由的权利，保持对音乐信念与独有的特色，液氧罐头乐队是中国最具东方色彩的新金属乐队。同时，作为国内第一支发行重型不插电专辑的乐队，标志着中国重型摇滚乐的重要转折与突破。
乐队最初由7人成立于2001年。同年在豪运酒吧首次登台反响热烈，颇具特色的演绎在国内金属乐中首开先河，一举成为第二届迷笛音乐节重型乐队中最受瞩目的新星。
在成立十几年间，乐队逐渐成为中国重型摇滚乐中一面不倒的旗帜。对于所有的乐迷来说，他们的每个现场都会带来视觉与听觉的双重震撼。
在他们强大的感召力和疯狂的舞台爆发力之下，乐迷们的每一根神经都被旋律和节奏掌控着；而歌词则象一把利刃，插入听者内心最柔软的地方，使之喜悦、落泪、疯狂。
成军十五载，曾发行8张原创单曲、EP及专辑。无论是《灰、蓝色》、《痛苦杀死我》、《这一切变化无常》，抑或是《誓言》、《为什么这样》、《葬花吟》，乃至最新作品《My Rocking Girl》、《把思念寄到天空去》、《途》等众多音乐作品，已成为乐队亮相国内各大品牌音乐节、商业活动和全国巡演现场引爆万人合唱、pogo的经典曲目。
经历了多次蜕变与成长之后，2015年，液氧罐头乐队以全新阵容涅槃重生，延续着东方音乐色彩与新金属的融合理念，久违的打击乐重新回归舞台。有别于其他重型乐队的嘶吼、失真、过载的轰鸣之声、雷鸣之势，让音乐成为感官世界里的磅礴海啸。这股时代表层之下汹涌的暗流，正是东方音乐精神最纯真、最本能的倾向。

Liquid Oxygen Can is a Chinese New Metal band, formed in March 2001, succeeding integrating Chinese drums and other characteristic of percussion.
The band’s current lineup includes Yu Zhang (vocals), JR Hu (guitar), Yang Song (bass), Chris Wu (drums), Wanwan Ma (percussionist).
The band’s debut album All This is Fickle was released in 2005, their other albums Liquid Oxygen Can was released in 2007, Ten Years of Oxygen and Unplugged in 2012. Their latest album, The Six Dog and Rock’ n’ Roll was released in 2017.
The band has been touring across China cities since 2008, and has been playing hundreds of musical festivals, including Midi, Strawberry, Zhangbei, China Rock ‘n’ Roll Festival, etc.
Besides, Yu Zhang started producing a weekly online TV show, which invites featured special guests from Rock and Roll bands.
The band sticks to their rock and roll dreams and interpret music in their soul, no matter how the circumstances change, and how difficult it is.
