Marilyn Mazur是全世界最负盛名的爵士女打击乐手、鼓手之一。在她乐手生涯的早期，就已在当代爵士领域取得了傲人的成就。她曾是Miles Davis、Wayne Shorter、Gil Evans、Jan Garbarek等音乐巨擘的乐队成员，也创立和参与了众多极具特色的乐团项目，包括由10位斯堪的纳维亚女性乐手与1位舞者组成的跨界乐团Shamania等。她是当之无愧的“打击乐女皇”。
Marilyn Mazur is one of the world’s most prestigious female drummers and percussionists. She reached iconic status on the contemporary jazz scene in the early years of her career. Playing in the eighties with titans like Miles Davis, Wayne Shorter, Gil Evans and Jan Garbarek, she has also formed and participated in various distinctive projects focusing on her own music, including the large orchestra Shamania, which gathered 10 strong female Scandinavian music profiles and a dancer. She is truly the “Queen of Percussion”.
