在 Post Punk 与 New Wave 的血与骨下，他们制造出了独属于自己的别样声响。你能感受到他们作品里的冷峻与深邃，却也会被其中不经意的温暖和浪漫而深深吸引。他们是 来自东京的 Lillies and Remains, 当今日本的后朋克音乐里的领军乐团之一。
他们曾被Selfish Cunt，Neils Children，Project:Komakino等等大牌乐团指定为演出嘉宾，登上了诸如 The Great Escape、Liverpool Sound City 等欧陆著名音乐节的舞台，甚至，日本VICE还在全球新噪音计划中对他们进行了为期5天的跟拍。
如今，在经历过大大小小的舞台过后，我们将携手好友 Neon.Booking 一起，把 Lillies and Remains 的音乐首次带入中国。如果你期待着看到一支将西方音乐与日本文化相结合的新时代乐团，那么他们一定会是那个满足你一切想象的乐队。
2006年的京都，还是大学生的乐队主唱kent深受The Cure、Gang of Four, The Fall, Bauhaus等乐队的影响，以“变革已经停滞不前的日本摇滚”为目标，组建了Lillies and Remains，在京都开始正式的音乐活动。如果你也喜欢Bauhaus，肯定一眼就能明白这支乐队的名字是来源于Bauhaus『Of Lillies and Remains』这首歌。
2008年乐队加入了新的吉他手KAZUYA，并发行了首张EP『Moralist S.S.』。这首歌奠定了Lillies and Remains的音乐特色，金属音色浓重的吉他加上主唱禁欲低沉的嗓音，蛊惑着我们的耳膜。『Moralist S.S.』仿佛一把黑色的匕首在日本的摇滚界划开了一道口子，各种各样的评论从口子里汩汩涌出。
在10年前，想要用全英语歌词去打破固有日本音乐市场是一件很难的事。『Moralist S.S.』虽然是英文歌词，但歌曲名字中的“S.S”，其实来源于日本文豪大江健三郎的小说《日常生活的冒险》中主人公斎木犀吉的名字缩写。kent试图用音乐来表现小说的核心思想，描绘日本战后一代的生活面貌，“他们讲起来滔滔不绝，猛烈地渴求彼此的身体，尝试所有冒险的事，结果没成就任何一件事情，就这样唐突地死去。”
Lillies and Remains的音乐将西方音乐和日本文化完美的融合，流动的New Wave如丝般暗暗编织着阴翳纤细的文学思想，在这支乐队身上你能嗅到西方的朋克运动对日本文化产生的微妙影响。优等生，发达国家的中产阶级，Joy Division美学，强烈的形式主义，这些关键词拼凑出一个模糊暧昧的Lillies and Remains。
他们现场总是穿着修身的黑色西装，强烈的舞台闪光灯下，主唱Kent戴着的墨镜闪烁着电气氤氲的光。机械的鼓点和尖锐的吉他烘托着无机质的嗓音，低温火烧的视听感受让人在现场忍不住灵魂颤抖。
2011年发行的第二张全长大碟『TRANSPERSONAL』是一张漂浮着严肃黑色香气的作品，专辑的世界观也非常有趣，专辑名来源于六十年代兴起的心理学流派——超个人心理学。深受三島由紀夫的小说《豊饒の海》的刺激，在创作中Kent倾心于佛教和东洋思想，之后又投身于“个人印度”的灵魂彼岸。
随后，2012年他们发行的翻唱专辑『Re/composition』。全专11曲不仅翻唱了The Smiths、Suicide、Gang of Four、Depeche Mode等老牌乐队的名曲，最有意思的还是他们重新演绎了Britney Spears的名曲『Toxic』，这首翻唱不仅确认了乐队的音乐原点，也从中窥见了Lillies and Remains作为日本为数不多的后朋新浪潮乐队的坚持和决心。
2014年发行的专辑『Romanticism』由被誉为电子噪音鬼才的日本传奇乐队Soft Ballet成员藤井麻辉主动请缨操刀，以80年代new wave为基础，轻快的合成器绵密地织出优美的旋律。『BODY』作为开场曲最适合不过，强硬冷峻的编曲瞬间点燃身体的导火索，一秒回到复古的80年代。
浓缩了整张专辑特色的主打曲『Go Back』增加了音乐的流行性，也能看出他们更为积极地面对主流市场。『Like the way we were』疾走的曲调，比起过去的作品更添了一份浪漫和温暖。『This City #2』还被收录到绫野刚主演的电影《新宿天鹅》的特别专辑之中。
如今，Lillies and Remains即将带着他们的许多经典作品首次踏足中国，习惯保持神秘的他们的也或许会在这次的中国之旅中出演全新的作品。如果你也是一名钟情于各类后朋克，新浪潮和日本独立音乐的忠实乐迷，请务必不要错过这一次的“浪漫”之旅。

In the summer of 2007, Lillies and Remains a New Wave/Post Punk band suddenly appeared and is most likely to be "THE BAND" of the Japanese indie rock scene.
With Kent (Vocals/Guitar) as the core of the band the members met attending the same college and formed in 2006 in Kyoto. Neils Children is raised as one of their favorites which can be found/heard. Their edgy yet metallic guitar sound is their bold characteristic that is their nucleus/weapon and their nihilistic sense completely makes a clear distinction from other bands. Front man Kent started writing/composing songs around the age of 15, backed with an enormous knowledge of music he plants various hooks in the songs that can knock you out by listening once, and the killer tunes also give off the overwhelming presence to change the atmosphere of a place in a split moment.
In order to change not only Japan but also the rock scene of the world, the talent to watch out for has emerged from Japan... and they are Lillies and Remains. The time has come. The talent finally takes off the veil to shake the world.
