NOVELISTS于2013年年初在法国巴黎成军，成员包括主唱Matteo Gelsomino、吉他手Charly Kelevra、吉他手Florestan Durand、贝司手Nicolas Delestrade和鼓手Amael Durand。其中Matteo、Charly和Nicolas都是法国金属核名团A CALL TO SINCERITY的前任成员，而Florestan和Amael则是亲兄弟。

NOVELISTS的首张专辑巡演，得到了很多知名乐队的响应，其中不乏BREAKDOWN OF SANITY、DREAM ON DREAMER、SILENT PLANET、FOR TODAY等名团的助阵。而之后NOVELISTS在HELLFEST、IMPERICON、UK TECHFEST等多个大型音乐节的出演，更是巩固了他们在欧洲乃至全球前卫金属核领域里的位置。

NOVELISTS was formed in Paris, France, at the beginning of 2013. The band members include lead singer Matteo Gelsomino, guitarist Charly Kelevra, guitarist Florestan Durand, bassist Nicolas Delestrade, and drummer Amael Durand. Among them, Matteo, Charly, and Nicolas were former members of the renowned French metalcore band A CALL TO SINCERITY, while Florestan and Amael are brothers.

NOVELISTS' first album tour received support from many well-known bands, including notable acts such as BREAKDOWN OF SANITY, DREAM ON DREAMER, SILENT PLANET, and FOR TODAY. Furthermore, their performances at various large music festivals such as HELLFEST, IMPERICON, and UK TECHFEST have solidified their position in the European and even global progressive metalcore scene.
