自1992年成立以来，Sunny Day Service可谓自成一派，他们在J-Pop的框架下，巧妙地融合了City Pop的慵懒与浪漫、Indie Pop的清新与自由、以及涉谷系的精致与多元。尤其在涩谷系音乐式微之际，他们扛起了将民谣精神与日本本土情怀融合的旗帜，实现了在音乐上的兼容并蓄、拒绝标签，为日本独立音乐史书写了浓墨重彩的一笔。

灵魂人物曾我部恵一以其精准的情感捕捉、犀利的生活批判、质朴而富含文学性的歌词，以及独特的都市生活态度表达，在日本乐坛树立了“既温柔又锋利”的独特地位。同时，他创立Rose Records推动独立音乐，并坚持“好音乐源于生活”的创作哲学，为年轻一代提供了锐利的精神指引，更被誉为 90 年代涩谷系音乐中最具民谣摇滚魅力的“异类领袖”。

去年七月，Sunny Day Service乐队带着其独特的“都市诗人”气质，跨越重洋初探中国大陆舞台，为聚集于北上广三城的乐迷献上了贯穿文化与时空的夏日音乐盛典：超过二十首经典曲目的演绎，无间断的热烈演出节奏与观众的深度互动，让乐迷现场见证了他们将民谣、爵士与流行元素融为一体的音乐张力。

Since their formation in 1992, Sunny Day Service have carved out a style entirely their own.
Working within the framework of J-Pop, the band masterfully blends the laid-back romance of City Pop, the breezy freedom of Indie Pop, and the sophistication and eclecticism of the Shibuya-kei movement. Especially during the decline of Shibuya-kei, they carried the torch by fusing folk sensibilities with uniquely Japanese emotional depth—refusing easy categorization and leaving an indelible mark on the history of Japanese independent music.

At the heart of it all is frontman Keiichi Sokabe, known for his raw emotional precision, sharp social critique, and lyrics that are both unadorned and deeply literary. His distinct voice in expressing the nuances of urban life has earned him a reputation as “gentle yet piercing”—a singular figure in the Japanese music scene. Beyond his work with the band, he founded Rose Records, championing the indie spirit and upholding a philosophy that “good music is rooted in real life.” To this day, he remains a guiding force for younger generations, often hailed as the unconventional leader of 1990s folk-inflected Shibuya-kei.

In July of last year, Sunny Day Service made their long-awaited debut on mainland Chinese stages, bringing their signature “urban poet” energy to audiences in Beijing, Shanghai, and Guangzhou. Performing over 20 classic songs in a seamless, high-energy set, they bridged cultures and eras—offering a musical celebration that fused folk, jazz, and pop with irresistible intimacy and power.
