From the depths of time, ancient wandering songs still echo. Images of forests, ale, and fire are awakened once more. The music of Korpiklaani grows from this land where memory and mythology intertwine, like a winding path through the woods. Fiddle, accordion, bagpipes, and the ancient jouhikko weave a raw, earthy texture; guitars stand firm as tree trunks, while the drums echo like footsteps striking the ground. A low, gravelly voice carries the spirit of early "yoik" chanting, giving the music a primal, calling quality. Through repetition, groove, and melody, they forge an almost instinctive pull—one that can raise a toast in a crowded tavern or walk alone through the night.
