Lyn Lapid has made a career out of putting hard-to-name feelings into words. The Filipino American singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist pairs unfiltered, conversational lyricism with an instinctive sense of melody, moving fluidly between alternative R&B, jazz-inflected phrasing, and pop without settling neatly into any one lane.
Raised in Maryland, Lyn first found an audience in 2020 through a series of viral ukulele covers on TikTok. That attention quickly shifted toward her original music, beginning with early fan favorites “Producer Man” and “When She Loved Me,” followed by the Gold-Certified “In My Mind.”
