Ezra Collective 首次来华｜水星奖得主，当代英国爵士复兴浪潮标杆-深圳站
在当代伦敦那片被阴郁、潮湿与地下低频不断重塑的声响土壤中，Ezra Collective 并非一支试图复刻黄金年代荣光的传统乐队，而是一座将加勒比律动、西非 Highlife、嘻哈脉冲与现代爵士融为一体的音乐熔炉。
这支五人乐队由鼓手 Femi Koleoso、贝斯手 TJ Koleoso、键盘手 Joe Armon-Jones、萨克斯风手 James Mollison 和 小号手 Ife Ogunjobi（2019 年起由 Dylan Jones 转为 Ife 接任）组成，用十数年的时间完成了一次罕见的文化跃迁。他们将爵士乐从高高在上的学院派神坛上请下，重新注入街头、青年社群与舞池的脉搏，最终走向全英乃至全球主流音乐文化的中央。
Ezra Collective 的意义，并不只是让爵士获得了更大的舞台。他们让爵士重新拥有了一种现场属性：音乐不再只是乐手演奏给听众听，而是由乐手、舞池和整个空间共同完成。

Formed in the youth clubs of London, Ezra Collective, Femi Koleoso (drums), TJ Koleoso (bass), Joe Armon-Jones (keys), James Mollison (saxophone) and Ife Ogunjobi (trumpet), have become one of the most celebrated and groundbreaking bands in British music. Since emerging with Chapter 7 in 2016, the group have redefined what modern jazz can sound and feel like, blending afrobeat, reggae, salsa, grime and hip-hop into a joyful, communal sound entirely their own. Following the success of 2022’s Mercury Prize-winning Where I’m Meant To Be and 2024’s Dance, No One’s Watching, which led to a Wembley Arena headline show and a historic BRIT Award win for Group of the Year, the band return with Here Because Of Hope. Conceived in three movements tracing the journey from West Africa to the Caribbean to the UK, the album explores migration, diaspora and resilience through music rooted in hope, rhythm and celebration.
