Unknown Art Presents: Harakiri for the Sky Asia Tour in Shenzhen
Harakiri for the Sky was founded in 2011 by multi-instrumentalist, composer, and producer M.S. and vocalist/lyricist J.J. in Vienna, Austria. Blending the raw, aggressive elements of black metal with the melancholic, atmospheric soundscapes of post-rock, the band quickly established themselves as a unique and compelling force within the modern extreme metal underground.
Over the course of critically acclaimed albums such as Aokigahara, III: Trauma, Arson, and Maere, Harakiri for the Sky has continually refined their signature sound—a cinematic, emotionally crushing fusion of sweeping guitar melodies, furious blast beats, and deeply introspective, vulnerable lyricism dealing with isolation, mental struggle, and despair.
