每当我听到这支来自瑞典斯德哥尔摩的后摇团，心中总会有一种轻盈之感，一种不透明却十分美丽的情绪充斥在歌曲的每一个音符里，并让我觉得：如果任何人在生活的重压之下喘不过气来，那么 Seas Of Years 便会成为你的灵丹妙药，带着你远遁喧嚣，置身一望无尽的海洋之边。

有趣的是，几位创造 Seas Of Years 的乐手从来都不怎么了解何为 Post Rock，相反的是，他们同时都在不同的欧洲极端音乐乐队里担任不同的位置。而当我问起他们怎么突然想到创作如此温柔的作品时，他们都笑着说“可能我们自己觉得需要中和一下自身的负能量吧”。

而今年五月，来自瑞典的浪花就要蔓延在中国的大地之上了，你会去看吗？

Seas of Years is a post rock band from Stockholm, Sweden. The band was formed around midsummer 2012 with the intention of writing instrumental post rock. Original name of the band was Ocean Rift, and eventually changed into Seas of Years.

They bring us an almost perfect work as their previous album. This EP sounds classically Swedish and a little bit morose as Katatonia and Slumber when you first hear it, but underneath the surface it’s fulfilled with childish drifting emotions. These four guys showed us how talented they are with their sincere attitude.

Now, they will tour in china with their new album which named “The Ever Shifting Fields”. I could insure you that they will bring us a great show, as one of best bands of Weary Bird Records.
