荷尔蒙小姐乐队，来自成都，由五个女生组成，大多来自四川音乐学院，其中两位成员在大学期间就读作曲专业，这使她们在音乐创作上更加严谨。
乐队成立三年，经历了风格的变化，她们放弃了最开始的流行音乐风格，而被电子舞曲深深地吸引。她们将歌词呈现得简洁、严肃、有力。舞台风格更加狂躁，混合电子舞曲风格产生出一种高度分化的内分泌细胞合成并直接分泌入血的化学信息物质—荷尔蒙。
2013年荷尔蒙小姐乐队参加迷笛全国校园乐队大赛，开始让更多人了解这支来自成都的女子乐队，她们展现出来的缜密的思维和成熟的音乐，以及舞台风格使所有人眼前一亮。最终她们获得全国第二名。
《象》收录了她们最新创作的作品，其中《云层背后》受到了广泛的肯定和喜爱。别具一格的创作思维深受大众认同。但她们并不满足舞曲带来的狂欢，她们想要探寻黑暗浪潮中的能量。《Darkness of light》和《象》这两首作品的创作更加透漏出她们站在女性的角度所发出的信号，意识。
这次荷尔蒙小姐乐队将联手New Noise厂牌和成都小酒馆，推出自己的首张专辑《象》，并将在10月末会带着这张专辑展开她们的全国巡演。

Based in Chengdu, The Hormones are composed of five young girls. Most of them are majored in music performing and composition, which reflected obviously through their rigorous and creative music style.
After three years of development, The Hormones has experienced a radical style transforming, from the initial electro-pop to nowadays post-punk/electronic dance music. Meanwhile, their stage performance becomes also more interactive and manic. Just as what the title implies, their music is functioning as hormones that tap into the endocrine system and secretly merging into our blood.
In 2013, The Hormones participated the Midi National Campus Band Competition. Their high level of musical maturity and excellent stage presence helped them to win the 2nd place. Since then this all-girl-band from Chengdu started to receive more recognition.
"Elephant" a collection of their latest works, among which "Behind the Clouds" has received widely recognition and appreciation. Maintaining their unique creativity whilst carefully considering how to maintain their success, they continues to explore deeper into the dark wave style. "Darkness of Light" and "Elephant" are two pieces revealing a signal of more awareness of women's own view-point.
Now The Hormones teamed up with New Noise and The Little Bar to release their debut EP "Elephant". By the end of October The Hormones will depart on their first national tour to present their new EP.
