马木尔最初以冬不拉演奏者和哈萨克民谣的现代集大成者的面目闻名，随后渐渐成为一位横跨传统与现代的高产高能音乐家，出版了超过 40 张唱片。
他目前拥有 8 支乐队：IZ（脚印）、Kunakar（罪人）、51-RAYON（51 区）、Mekrop（细菌）、TAT（锈）、Bande（响马）、Mask（面具）和 Ün（喑）。每个乐队风格不同，主要以氛围、工业、噪音、即兴、实验、厄运嗡鸣、黑暗嗡鸣等形式呈现，主要乐器为贝斯与吉他。
在他的众多音乐项目之中，以冬不拉为主角的并不多，但他从未停止过对这种哈萨克传统乐器的探索。作为多年以来不断练习和研究的音乐成果，他的“冬不拉自由交响计划”将在本届明天音乐节的舞台上迎来首演。
Mamer first gained recognition as a master of the dombra and a modern exponent of Kazakh folk music, and has since emerged as a highly prolific and dynamic musician who bridges tradition and modernity, with over 40 albums to his name.
He currently leads eight bands: IZ (footprints), Kunakar (sinner), 51-RAYON (Area 51), Mekrop (germ), TAT (rust), Bande (bandit), Mask, and Ün (sound). Each band explores a distinct style, primarily expressed through ambient, industrial, noise, improvisation, experimental, doom drone, and dark drone, with bass and guitar as the main instruments.
Among his many musical projects, few feature the dombra as the lead instrument, yet he has never ceased his exploration of this traditional Kazakh instrument. As a musical outcome of years of practice and research, his “Free Symphonic Project for Dombra” will give its world premiere on the stage of this year’s Tomorrow Festival.
