HYENAZ 等于疯狂的凯特 &TUSK ——在这个贪食蛇游戏一般的世界里，他们是食物链的最末端，一种很奇特的生物，发出一连串过剩的声响，从现代文明到商业化物质的反响。音乐的节奏和贝斯旋律从早期HOUSE，工业到R&B，人声从灵魂，布鲁斯，到PROG-ROCK，歌词是朋克诗歌，一张张碎纸片——记载着被控制的难忍，最后通过歌唱解脱。合成器演绎的是金属摇滚和90年代怀旧音乐的刮擦。他们的现场，视觉，文字是他们从周围的零零种种的精心挑选，重新用他们的身体去感觉和表达。他们的首张专辑从矛盾中心出发，只存在在这个时代的音乐，受着时间的束缚，具有21世纪人类的不稳定性。HYENAZ是一个，不被归类的，无瑕疵的生物，他们雌雄同体的血肉在数据技术和神圣之间的薄冰边缘如履。

HYENAZ are Mad Kate & TUSK—bottom-feeders on the surface of a planet eating itself; exquisite creatures whose soundscapes spring from the surplus and detritus of civilization’s cultural and consumerist material. The beats and basslines lift from early house, industrial and R&B; the vocals from soul, blues and prog-rock; the lyrics are punk poetry, cutups — the calls of a cybernetic siren. Synthesizers are built from discarded scraps of metal and 90s nostalgia. Their performance, their visual art and their texts cull from the discarded fabrics of their surroundings, felt and reinterpreted through their bodies. Their first release slices through the core contradictions that lie in contemporary music, the liminality of time and instability of the twenty-first century human body. HYENAZ are one, defiled and immaculate, their androgynous flesh quivering on the thin edge between the digital and the divine.

Mad Kate is a multifaceted performance artist who bridges the worlds of dance theater, spoken word and experimental music. Integrating elements of punk iconography, butoh awareness, direct prose, improvisational movement and visionary costume, Mad Kate has performed around

Europe, Russia and the United States as a solo artist and member of Bonaparte. She pioneers a brave performance genre that is outspokenly feminist, genderqueer and honest.

TUSK is a producer, singer and dancer, best described as “synthwave meets sci-fi” <kaltblut>. With a background firmly rooted social theory and critical philosophy, TUSK embraces the Diocletian impossibility of embedding crucial economic, social and epistemological questions within popular music forms. TUSK toys with questions of sexuality, cybernetics and the apocalypse while gaining recognition as one of Europe’s most thrilling live performers.
